We are long term members of Betty and Eddie’s dance classes. Betty and Eddie have shown unfailing patience (and forbearance) as we have gotten to grips with the different dance steps and sequences. We have greatly enjoyed their classes, the dance nights out and the weekends away. We would highly recommend joining as it is an excellent way of keeping the mind and body active while having fun and making new friendships along the way.

I joined this dance school a year ago, and have throughly enjoyed the experience. There was such a genuine warm welcome from everyone. The other more experienced dancers were so encouraging and Ann teaches in a way that makes it easy to learn. The classes are fun and challenging and I look forward to them each week. I have found a new passion. How fantastic. Thank you Ann, Lisa and Kay.

I recently returned back to dancing after a few years and I loved it , Anne and the crew are so welcoming and it was like we were never away. I would definitely recommend Cork Dance Club to anyone thinking of taking up dancing

I joined Anne’s dance class in Bandon back in 2019 it was a Monday night, went on my own I knew nothing about ballroom dancing ,today I’ve made so so many friends I don’t have a dance partner because you don’t need one, just live for my classes and all the social dances that Anne puts on every year,take that first step and join up you will never look back it’s just brilliant.

A brillant and friendly class of sound down to earth people, the dancing is pretty good also. Anne is top notch as a teacher, great fun in the proper execution of ballroom dance. Though I may not be exuberant in my enthusiasm for class on a given night, I always enjoy the night and the social nights are epic. If you ever wanted to waltz with a rumba and cha cha cha thrown in for good measure, Anne and her supportive assistants are a great place to learn.

Have been attending Anne’s classes in Blarney and highly recommend that you join up. Anne and Kay are excellent teachers and make you feel at ease from the start. They have great patience and break down the steps for the beginner. A warm welcome awaits and it is a lovely way to spend an evening…give it a shot!

In Cork Dance Club, the people are all very friendly and the dancing is so energising and an amazing confidence booster! I’ve learned to dance the tango and the foxtrot and many other dances which I never would have thought possible a few years ago! The teaching is so gentle and supportive it feels like belonging to a community that celebrates movement, music and above all connection. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to feel alive, active and above all happy!
